THE SCRAPPIEST sketch #103

I'm on a roll...... wow..... I couldn't stop scrapping yesterday so I made another layout, based on The Scrappiest sketch #103 this time. I had the perfect photo to use for this sketch..... of our DS#2. The pic really shows his personality - love that I captured that happy, content smile.

THE SCRAPPIEST sketch #102

Wow, love those sketches that keep coming this week! I took sketch #102 for the only 2 pics I took when our DS#2 turned 7, last August. For some reason they were the only photos I took, don't know why...... must have been the lovely weather and going in and out with coffee and cakes all day long LOL!

Picture quality in blogger is not what it's supposed to be - sorry!

Kept it summery, easy and clean. Although they are not the best pictures I ever took, I'm glad I scrapped them 'cause we had a lovely day. Also like the fact that grandpa & grandmom are in the photo as well; they really enjoyed being with their youngest grandson.

THE SCRAPPIEST - Sketch 99

While keeping up with one of my new year's resolutions (more scrap time) I played with the papers my friend Monique gave me a while ago. The fit perfectly with the pic I wanted to use about our DS#1. After this year only 1 more year to go at our local primary school.... how time flies!

This layout is based upon the word 'Believe', a challenge from Bird is the Word challenge blog, where my friend Mieke is in the DT.

With the photo I wanted to document our DS#2's during X-mas, he really enjoys the tree, the Christmas feeling.

The Scrappiest sketch 97

It has been a while (read: ages!) that I joined a challenge at The Scrappiest, but I take a look quite often as my friend Monique is on of the designers over there and I love to see what she and the others are creating.

I hope/plan to take a little more time to craft in 2011 and with that resulotion made I started with the lastest Scrappiest sketch, No 97.

LADYBUGS AND FRIENDS - card challenge

It has been quite a while but today I took some time to create a card. I followed the sketch from Ladybug and Friends to join in on their sketch challenge.

As you can see I turned the sketch around a bit, it felt better this way :-)

Dutch Card Lovers Challenge 41

Ik had zin om een met mijn copics te kleuren want ik had nog zo'n leuke Anya gekregen van The Greeting Farm. Echt een meisje dat houdt van een hoop bling-bling, vind ik. Nou zijn mijn kaarten en scrap layouts meestal vrij rustig en sober van kleur, daar houd ik enorm van. Maar dit was dus bi j uitstek een gelegenheid om eens helemaal 'out of my comfort zone' te gaan, zoals dat zo mooi heet. En weet je wat, ik ben superblij met het resultaat; je wordt er vanzelf vrolijk van. Kijk maar.

En dit heb ik ervan gemaakt:





Het papier komt uit een paper pack gekocht bij Scrapbookdepot en heet Card Making Retro Rose, ontworpen door Llewelyn-Bowen, die ken ik nog van Changing Rooms van de BBC. Nooit geweten dat 'ie ook papiertjes ontwerpt!

Ik geloof dat ik zin heb om nog zo'n heerlijke girly kaart te maken.... tot gauw!
